Ordering, Payment, Shipping & Returns
By placing an order on this website you agree to and accept the terms and price specified in this web site. This price may include delivery and other applicable charges which are stated at the ordering stage.
There may be occasions where we have to decline orders for any reason, including, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description or image posted on this web site, or an error in your order.
If Waypoint Electronics Limited is unable to source the particular product you require, we will contact you, and inform you of the general date of availability or of alternative products, or offer to cancel the sale.
Your contract with Waypoint Electronics Limited On-line will only come into existence when you have fully paid for your order and Waypoint Electronics Limited On-line provides confirmation that your order has been accepted. Confirmation will be sent via email to your nominated email address.
In order to provide the greatest range of products, you understand that Waypoint Electronics Ltd does not necessarily hold all products listed on this site in stock. Goods delivered may sometimes have cosmetic differences to the product images presented on this site.
Waypoint Electronics makes every effort practical to ensure that delivery timeframes are prompt but we do not accept liability for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated time frame.
Waypoint Electronics Limited On-line accepts payment by direct bank transfer. Details supplied on placement of order. Alternatively by cheque, but goods not despatched until cheque cleared.
You must include the order number as a reference on your bank transfer so we know which order the payment refers to.
Incorrect Bank Account Number
Waypoint Electronics Limited gives the customer the choice to pay for products through bank transfer. If the Customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number then Waypoint Electronics Ltd will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment and the goods will not be dispatched.
All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include GST (15% sales tax). All prices are correct at time of publication; however we reserve the right to alter prices for any reason. If this should happen after you have ordered a product, we will contact you prior to processing your order.

We try to keep out delivery costs to a minimum and reserve the right to amend our rates from time to time. Delivery is charged on a per parcel basis and we will always try to ensure the lowest cost is incurred.
Some large or bulky items may require additional charges to be passed on from our courier company. Any such charge is outlined in the product descriptions or order processing section of the site.
Delivery Time Frames
In order to provide you with a variety of choice, we source product from a number of different suppliers. Depending on their location, ordered goods are delivered to you within different time frames. While in many cases goods will be dispatched on the same day we receive the order you need to allow a reasonable delivery window should we need to get the goods or part of your order in.
Waypoint Electronics Limited will retain ownership of the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products. Ownership of those products & the risk in the products will pass to you on dispatch from Waypoint Electronics Ltd.
Couriered deliveries will require a proof of delivery signature. Our Couriers will not leave goods at an unattended address. In this circumstance neither Waypoint Electronics Limited nor the courier company can be liable delays caused where no-one is available to collect the goods.
If you are not at the specified address when the courier calls a delivery card will be left advising you where the delivery can be uplifted.
Couriered goods are insured by our courier companies but they have strict criteria for claims. Freighted/couriered items must be thoroughly checked inside before signing for your delivery.
Damaged goods: If the couriered goods are found to be damaged in transit please advise us immediately as you have a 15 day window to make a claim.
Lost Goods: If the goods fail to arrive please advise us as you have a 30 day window to make a claim.

Defective Goods: Firstly you have rights the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. It states that any goods purchased for personal use may be returned if they are not of an "acceptable quality" (for example, if they are not fit for the purpose for which they are bought, or if they are unsafe).
If you return goods within the terms of this provision, Waypoint Electronics Limited will happily provide a refund or a replacement product within a reasonable period of time at our expense.
Shipping charges are non-refundable & we will deduct the full amount of shipping costs that has actually been paid by us to ship your product initially.
Returns are not accepted on used items, items that are not in original condition, packaging, books, videos, software, or cut lengths of cable. Some special order items may not be refundable for example if it was made or ordered specifically to your requirements.
Please ensure we are given all your contact details together with the original invoice as proof of purchase. You are welcome to e-mail us email@example.com so we can assist you what needs to be done to arrange the refund.
